About the story
At Long Lake, Buster Bee promises to stay with the group, follow marked areas, use proper safety gear, and ask before changing plans. When a younger bug’s toy sailboat drifts beyond the approved family area, Buster knows he could fly after it before anyone has time to worry.
Buster chooses the promise over the shortcut and helps an equipped lake attendant retrieve the boat safely. He discovers that dependable choices do not make him less curious; they make his curiosity safer for others to trust and leave plenty of room for future adventures planned together.
